When you sign up for the Getnet Developer Marketplace on your own, a new organization is automatically created for you. If you join because you have received an invitation via email, you join the organization of the person who invited you.

How do I create a new organization?

In order to join an existing organization, you must be invited. If you know of an existing organization you would like to join, contact the person responsible for that organization directly and they can send an invitation to your email address.

Only organization owners can invite other users to join. If you are not the owner of the organization, ask the owner to do this.

How do I invite other users to join my organization?

All users must belong to at least 1 organization, so you cannot delete the last organization you belong to. In addition, you can only delete an organization if you are its owner.

When you complete the deletion process, your organization is deactivated and Getnet administrators will perform a review before deleting it. They may contact you to confirm that the action was intentional.

How do I delete an organization?

To switch between organizations, make sure you are signed in. There is a drop-down menu on the top right of the screen where you can select the organization you want to switch to. You must belong to at least 2 organizations in order to be able to switch between them.

To subscribe to an API:

 <li>Subscribe the app&nbsp;to 1 or more APIs. 
 At this point, your API subscription is marked as PENDING and you must wait for your subscription to be approved.</li>

When your subscription to an API is approved, the API subscription status changes from PENDING to APPROVED.

How do I subscribe to an API?

Managing your subscriptions, such as cancelling a subscription or generating a new Client ID and Secret, can be done from the app page on the Getnet Developer Marketplace:

 <li>The app page details all the currently active subscriptions and allows you to cancel them.

On the configuration page, you can choose which payment methods your checkout accepts and customize certain aspects of how the checkout is displayed to your customers. You can also enter a callback URL where you can receive notifications about your customer’s transactions, such as when a payment has been accepted.

What is a payment link?

Yes. For payment links created through the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.globalgetnet.com/" target="_blank">Merchant Portal</a>, you do not need to integrate with any API. This is because <a href="/site/customapi/smps/en_GB/pagenotfound">Get Link and Pay</a>, which uses the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.globalgetnet.com/" target="_blank">Merchant Portal</a> to create and manage payment links, is a code-free solution.

Can I use payment links without using an API?

You can create and edit payment links in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.globalgetnet.com/">Merchant Portal</a>. How do I create and edit a payment link?

Payment links cannot be deleted. Instead, a link can be deactivated, which means that a customer can no longer use it to pay for their order. Payment links can be deactivated in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.globalgetnet.com/">Merchant Portal</a>.

When using the Checkout API, you can <a href="link-bloomreach/smps/en/productsApis/checkout-api/documentation/tutorial-tokenize-store-methods">securely store your customer's payment details</a> when they make a payment. The next time the customer pays for an order, you can use their stored payment details.

Can I store the customer's payment details so they do not need to re-enter them if they come back later to pay for another order?

The tokenization functionality is used to encode your customers’ sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, before sending a payment request to Getnet. The tokenized information can then be used as the payment method for your customers when creating payments, without having to include the raw and unprotected payment card details in the transaction.

Why would I use the Checkout API’s tokenization functionality?

A combined payment is when a customer pays for their order using more than one payment method, for example with a combination of 2 different credit cards or with a credit card and a gift card. This feature is only available in certain countries.

What is a combined payment?

The purpose of the 3DS feature is to ensure that the customer making the online payment is the correct owner of the payment card. If it is activated, the customer is redirected during the payment operation to their card provider’s site to authenticate themselves.

 
3DS authentication is used in card-not-present situations, such as online payments, and helps prevent payment fraud.
